Knödel with strawberries

Knödel with strawberries

My father brought me about 1 kg strawberries from the field, so I ate them the whole day long - with yoghurt, in smoothie or as sauce and filling for these Knödel, a speciality in Austria. The dough is made of curd cheese and boiled in water and then covered in mixture of sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
