Another opportunity to take a blue hour shot during our trip in Vancouver. After a long day of playing tourist, while heading back to the hotel I spotted the giant ball of light. Found free parking at a casino and went to search for a location to capture the scene. I came to realize that I was not at the ideal location and that the perspective I was hoping for was actually on the otherside of the creek. While the wifey was already patient enough to give me 30 minutes as she stayed at the casino, this was a pick and choose your battle moment and knew I had to work with the location and not drag the wife to a different location. I almost thought I wouldn't be able to find a spot as there were some restricted areas near the casino and other areas that were not accesible. I took a risk and found a small fenced off area near the boat dock. I wasn't sure if I was allowed there, but I wasn't about to drag the wife somewhere and fail.
